We bought it for on discount because the tear at the bottom that store repaired and it has held for years. It is leather every where you touch, but synthetic every where else. It’s been used in the nursery room but it rocks so unfortunately over time the kids rocked it against the wall and the corners got torn, we just noticed. They sell repair kits that we have used on our other matching couches. It has some worn areas where it is not leather. It was my Super comfy nursing chair and still has lots of life left.
