I had a most excellent experience at urban motors in Garfield New Jersey. A family owned business of car enthusiast. Tony, Alex, Anthony, and Chris are all very knowledgeable and sincere.  They hand pick high end cars mostly Mercedes, BMW, and Audi. They also have some lower priced commuter cars. They make sure that before their cars are sold and leave the lot that they are in excellent running condition. I bought two cars from them a BMW six series and an Audi S5. And I can’t wait to go back again for my auto needs. I highly recommend your next buying experience to be at Urban Motor‘s .

I went here to look at two cars of the same model. While we didn't come to an agreement on price, they gave me a counter-offer, which I left to consider pending receipts/paperwork proving that they had just replaced the clutch.

When I spoke to them again later on, they changed their offer, citing several reasons which seemed completely made up, as they contradicted other information I was given earlier - such as "the person who made that offer didn't know the clutch had been done" when that person DID specifically mention the clutch work to me, and wasn't even the person who made the counter-offer.

I originally left a much longer, more detailed review here, but they were somehow able to get Google to delete it. This may explain why they have so few other negative reviews.

Anthony also emailed my personal email threatening legal action because I left a negative review, and called me names I won't repeat here.

I would not return to this dealership as I felt misled and lied to. I also find it unacceptable to try to intimidate people with legal action to get them to remove an honest negative review.

Also, I have noticed other negative reviews for this business getting removed after a day or two, as well as multiple 5 star reviews from accounts that have no other reviews. Pretty suspicious.

Update: They got a "lawyer" to send me a cute cease and desist email for writing this review

Also, their reply here doesn't match with what they told me before. There was no confusion between multiple vehicles. I went there to look at two exactly the same year/make/model vehicles listed at the exact same price. It seems like they lie habitually here.

Great experience at Urban Motors Collection! From start to finish, the guys there Chris and Alex made the transactions easy, were detail oriented and got me in and out with a beautiful BMW! I recommend this family owned dealer if you’re looking into a pre owned vehicle I wish I can give more than 5 stars
