This is a beautiful Towle 5 piece silver tea set. The set has a heavy weight. It could be over brass. The tray is heavy and has lovely etching. The pieces include the footed tray, teapot, coffee pot, covered sugar bowl. All the pieces are marked towle. The creamer and sugar are nice wide pieces. There is some normal vintage wear which is to be expected with pieces this old. There may be a few little scuffs on the tray but it does not take away. There are also be a few tiny places on the handle, very light where some of the silver has worn, but this is not really noticeable either.  This is a lovely set with the teapot and coffee pot both in very good condition. The tops for both work properly. The sugar has the original lid. The set is heavy and well made.
