This review is for the experience with the car after purchase. I’ll start by saying that I was happy with my experience at first. My salesman was wonderful, patient, and kind. The staff at the dealership were also friendly and professional. I believed I had gotten a great deal on the car I selected - it was meant to be a secondary fun car for me, and I knew from experience that older Mercedes can be expensive to maintain going into it. However, it appeared to be in great shape and well looked after which is extremely important in selecting any used Mercedes regardless of age.

I was provided with all the re-conditioning paperwork, and they even went above and beyond to replace a missing exhaust tip to close the deal. The dealer had made a substantial investment to re-sell the car which I was happy about. After further reviewing the reconditioning documents provided, I saw that the battery was in need of replacement as well as the e-brake cable. Not a huge deal, but annoying.

After two weeks of ownership and only putting about 400 miles on the car, I took the car to my trusted independent Mercedes workshop to have those two aforementioned issues repaired. I was then shocked to discover that the dealer had sold the car to me with a major oil leak coming from the front cam covers - a well known and common issue on the Mercedes M276 engine. The oil leakage appears to have been long term. I am shocked and disappointed that a reputable brand such as Fletcher Jones would sell a car needing a major repair like this without disclosing it. No mention of this oil leakage was made on any of the documents provided by them regarding the reconditioning of the car. It had just had the Mercedes Service B performed by them, so I find it hard to believe that this was simply overlooked. Now, in addition to the up front cost of the car I am having to invest another $2600 in repairs after not even two whole weeks of ownership.

**Update - after a month of persistent and excessive road vibration, I finally took the car to have the tires re-balanced as my mechanic did not find any issues with the suspension. Mind you, the tires are practically new. My paperwork showed that the dealer had repaired a bent wheel - unfortunately, that was not the case. Upon further inspection I also discovered a completely different although nearly identical wheel on the front passenger side - with the tire installed BACKWARDS, no less. At least I can say the vibration is gone after buying four new rims.

Buyer beware: not all that glitters is gold. Save yourself the trouble - don’t make the same mistake I did and get the vehicle you want inspected by a third party BEFORE signing on the dotted line.

I’ve bought multiple Mercedes from Fletcher Jones before, over $200K+ total, but this new used dealership is a huge letdown. Bryce was unprofessional, trying to sell a car over market value even though it was in below-average condition.

They claimed the vehicle was “reconditioned,” but the wheels were curbed, there were scratches all over, and only one key. Most of the cars here seem to be trade-ins sold as-is, not truly reconditioned.

I even own a car customization shop, so fixing cosmetic issues isn’t a problem, but paying over market and then paying more to fix a car advertised as “pristine” is not right.

When I offered a fair price, they told me to go elsewhere, so I did, and in a couple hours ended up buying a Certified Pre-Owned Range Rover for the same price I offered them.

Avoid this place, their used car manager clearly doesn’t understand the market, and it shows in the cars sitting there collecting dust.

I needed to replace my aging Ford Focus, so I browsed the web and eventually came across a Google Ad that suggested a Mazda 3 at Fletcher Jones. The price was in the ball park of what I wanted to pay for a car in good condition, so I browsed their website and found thorough pictures and a free CarFax report.

I called the dealership’s number and Matthew answered. He was very helpful and friendly; checking to see if the car was in stock and then making sure I knew exactly where the used car dealership was located.

When I arrived, I met Alex, who was exceptionally personable and knowledgeable. We test drove the vehicle, and he did very well in convincing me what a great car the Mazda 3 was. After the test drive, I did take a look at the nearby dealerships and did find a potential car to rival the one I drove.

At the end of the dealership visits, I went with the most knowledgeable salesperson and the highest rated dealer (Fletcher Jones.) From initial phone call to agreed upon price, I believe it was 2hrs.

The day of purchase was pleasant, especially dealing with Maricar who was extremely friendly and proficient; she answered all questions I had regarding the registration process.

So far I’m happy with my purchase and would recommend Fletcher Jones to any of my family members or colleagues looking for a car.

I went to see what were my options without the intention of purchasing a new car. Mike immediately greeted me and start showing me cars. After he found out what I want/like, he took me to his office to run some numbers. While walking to his office, he said, “I am going to double check to see all the programs you qualified for so that you can get a bigger discount.” Mike said this without me having to ask. The number Mike provided was too good to pass on so I ended up leaving with a brand new car! What made my experience 5 stars was that Mike was not pushy at all. In addition, the nice gentleman at Concierge (I forget his name) was extremely helpful and nice. He offered to show me how the car work and he offered to set my phone to my car without me asking. Highly recommend the team at Fletcher Jones if you are looking to purchase a new car.
