Description

Great running -many extras. I bought as salvage from Mike OBrien of Pacific Coast Cycles (Signal Hill) with 4700 original miles less than two years ago. Just before I turned 69 & decided I needed a Harley. I put about 4,200 more on it. Never left me stranded or stopped. The bike had a right turn signal and brake lever replaced by Mike & Tony. Passed independent mechanical check-out easily & I had HD of Calif also go around and double-check all torque settings, etc. Over the past year and a half+- I replaced both tires; had Harley Davidson of California (Harbor City) replace (upgrade to heavy-duty) rear suspension (I weigh 240 & was bottoming hard on bumps). I've had them change oil & filters about every 1(contact info removed) miles. Have all records. Also, had them install Viking lockable hard bags on the rear. I put a leather tool pouch on the front forks. I also changed to an LED DAY MAKER headlight (HD)-which makes a huge difference for night riding.., especially on the freeway. Horn is aftermarket and a bit louder than normal. Harley of California replaced crankcase cover-bad bump pushed old side stand up against bottom of it hard-had minor leak. The new case cover & gasket stopped leaking 100%. I haven't lost a drop of oil in over a year. I put an engine crash guard on and a backrest with a small rack behind it. Im using a one-up saddle right now. Small belt-buckle scratches on tank. I used touch up but if you are looking for them you'll see them. The bike looks and runs well. Has mid controls. OEM pipes (I think. Not real loud). I wouldn't be selling it at all but the VROD is my primary now, and Im also thinking about ADV or dual sport-though GF is thinking about vacation. Fantastic bike for someone stepping up in size or even new rider who has already passed their MSF course. Call me (Mike Ford) to see or if any questions *714*366*9404. Text is ok. could be delayed if you email. Test ride with proof of Motorcycle endorsement and (refundable if you don't damage/crash bike) $500 cash deposit.Transfer title at AAA Long Beach IF YOU WANT. OK to bring your mechanic or expert, or arrange for Harley Davidson of California to check it out for you.
