Selling my 2015 MacBook Air. The laptop powers on with no problem, but the internal SSD is not showing up. Here’s what I tested so you know exactly what you’re getting: • Laptop turns on and goes into Recovery Mode • Disk Utility shows only temporary system images – no internal SSD detected • Tried Internet Recovery, but it gives error -5101F (common when no SSD is present) • Terminal “diskutil list” also confirms the internal drive isn’t showing • Could be a loose SSD connection (common on 2013–2017 Airs) • Could also need a replacement SSD (cheap fix: $20–$40 online) Besides the SSD issue, everything else powers up normally: screen, keyboard, trackpad, battery, fan, and charger port all work. Perfect for someone who fixes Macs, needs parts, or wants a cheap project. Once the SSD issue is fixed, it should work like normal again.
