This style was highly popular in the 19th century, particularly during the Victorian era (late 1830s to the turn of the 20th century). The design is characterized by the rounded shape of the backrest, which tapers towards the seat, giving it a balloon-like appearance. They look to have been recently upholstered. 36” tall x 19” wide x 17” deep. Seat height 18”. Light purple upholstery. $60 for both.
