The $500 down is an absolute lie! I spoke with Moe after filling out my online application and was told that I had been approved and could pick up the vehicle that I wanted after I did the final test drive (I picked 3 different vehicles just in case). I had to wait a couple days due to waiting on my new debit card and they couldn't release the vehicle until I had the down payment (understandable). On that Monday morning, Moe called me to ensure I was still coming later that day. I asked once again about my approval and was reassured that I was fully approved with the down payment. I live over 45 minutes away and informed him that I did not want to come out unless I was assured a vehicle because I wouldn't have a way back. Before leaving I called again to verify and was told the same thing. Once I got there, I was then told not only did they want me to put more money down but also they wanted me to have a cosigner. I was told that my pay stubs and VA benefits wasn't sufficient enough because my year-to-date amount was off due to me switching locations. I asked if they wanted me to provide the previous pay stubs and was told no that wouldn't work. Remind you I make over $6,000 a month. The "finance manager" Omar wasn't even willing to send up to the verification department to see if they would accept it or asked for further verification and information, I was just told no they won't approve it. After this, with them knowing I didn't have a way back, they proceeded to walk around me like I was furniture. After an hour or so I asked if someone could take me to the train station (Penn Station) and was told by Omar no because the station was 30 minutes away and he couldn't let one of them leave for 30 minutes. (I'm not from Baltimore so I didn't know) After googling it myself, I realized the station was 15 minutes away, ANOTHER LIE FOR NO REASON. While sitting and waiting another lady came in to buy a vehicle and they told her no because her pay stubs were fake however, Abel pulled up her pay stubs from her pay system and printed them out to take them to Omar. This reassured me that these people were full of IT! I'm sure they'll reply to this saying something else but I assure this is it. I could write more but this already long enough.
