Description

I believe this is a 79 Schwinn Mag Scrambler. USA, Chicago made. This has real first gen Skyway Tuff Wheel mags with the Bendix coaster brake rear wheel. Alloy Tuf Neck V-bars, Kalloy stem, Akisu chrome moly forks. Original Schwinn, cranks bottom bracket, headset, seat clamp and post. Has an old school Messinger cruiser saddle that I might swap out for a different one. Has good repop tires and grips. Looks to have been repainted a long time ago and shows cool patina/wear. My son had a much nicer bike, but chose to ride this one as it was durable, reliable, simple and he loved the old school 80's vibe. This one is built too. Has all the era correct 80 upgrades that people did back in the day.
