Yamaha Bookshelf Speakers

Used pair of Yamaha bookshelf size speakers. 8" woofer, three way design. Cone midrange and tweeter. Woofer surround is treated cloth, so no foam rot to worry about. One woofer's dust cap has a few small dents in it, otherwise all cones are in near-perfect condition. No blown components. Nice pair of speakers for smaller stereo setups or use as rears in a bigger home theater system. Work great as utility pair in basement, garage, business, etc. These also are nice as a starter pair of studio monitors. Add a decent powered subwoofer and you'd be good for most projects. Cabinets have some edge and corner wear. The worst spot is shown. Some scrapes and spots, but not overly bad. Bottoms are pretty scratched and marked up, but not a big deal unless you intended to hang them. One front grille has a few snags, mostly along top edge. The other has a tiny hole at top and a little fading or discoloration at bottom. Each grille has a broken post, but the other three still hold it securely. No model tag is on them anymore. I had similar pairs before and they were typically 8 ohm and about 100 watt rated. These play well and are adequate for most music types. If your need a lot of deep bass, you may want something with larger woofers or consider mating them with a powered subwoofer. Should be placed on stands, shelves, or suspended for best sound. I have a receiver here to demo them, if you want to listen to them before purchasing.
