IF YOU ARE READING THIS, I STILL HAVE THE TRUCK. It's making a ticking noise and I was told by a mechanic they believe it is the lifters in the engine. The instrument cluster (speedometer and guages) is also malfunctioning. Overall, it has been well taken care of and the interior is damn near new looking (drivers seat back has stitching that is separated, but it can be fixed). We are the 2nd owner, and we just bought it in January. It's never been in an accident, only minor exterior flaws, paint chips but thats expected fora 20yr old truck. We replaced all the spark plugs and coil packs, did an oil change, and installed a new alternator and mass air flow sensor. Recently had new tires all the way around. Tinted front windows. 4WD 5.8L V8 mostly highway miles (298k). I want to fix it, but my husband does not want to put the money into it, so I unfortunately have to let it go. $2,800 OBO
