This laser is in perfect condition. Never used, no dust or scratches. Amazing Value I purchased two models from Amazon and this one arrived w/ a metric rod (as seen in photos) so it has been stored in it's case, inside the house. You will likely want to replace the grade rod with the 15' (in inches) sold either on Amazon or Spectra's website. Or, as I did, upgrade to another brand altogether. I am currently using this model of laser daily and it has been awesome. It's simple to calibrate and is extremely accurate.
