1969 VW Bug with Turbo Subaru Motor Swap

Up for sale is my 1969 VW Bug with a 2.5L turbo Subaru motor swap (currently probably around 300-350ish hp, not totally sure). The engine came out of a 2005 Subaru Legacy GT (basically the same as the WRX engine) and has since been fully rebuilt with forged pistons, STI rods, new bearings, fully serviced heads and so on. Engine build has at most a couple hundred miles on it and runs beautifully. Transaxle is a 091 VW Bus case built to take a beating by KCR Transmissions in riverside, it wasn't cheap, but its built to last and Kevin (the owner of KCR) has been a great resource and help in this process. Car has new shocks, tie rods, disc brakes front and rear, new ball joints in the front beam etc etc. The body might look rough but I did a ton of little things over my years of ownership making it a pretty solid car. That said, the body is rough, I'll be the first to admit that but if you're shopping for this car its probably for the drivetrain anyways. I stopped keeping track of my expenses but what I can say is what I'm asking would probably barely cover the expense of the transaxle, engine build, adapter plate, clutch, axles, and so on. I understand buying someones half finished project is a tough sell and I'm pricing it accordingly. This is a great starting point if you want to clean it up and have a car that absolutely rips and turns heads everywhere you go. Feel free to reach out with any questions.
