From the Sports at Foxwood Series. A beautiful decorative piece for a child’s room or to add to a collection. This piece is vintage from the 1994, still in original tin and never used. Foxwood Tales first began as a series of eight books co-created by author Cynthia Paterson and her husband artist Brian Paterson between 1985 and 1998. The couple were inspired by the plants and animals near their home at Henley-on-Thames and the antics of their three young sons. The series features anthropomorphic animals living in Foxwood Village where three friends, Harvey Mouse, Rue Rabbit and Willy Hedgehog have fun adventures. The artist used watercolours, which are recreated in the clean, gentle colours of the figurines.
