Today is a sad day. Up for sale is my 2000 rc51. This bike was made to compete with ducati in the superbike championship. A rider for honda nicky hayden took the championship from ducati in 2002 on this same bike. (Not this exact one.) This bike is an 1000cc v-twin with gear driven cams. There isnt any other bikes that sound exactly like this one. I have only seen a handful of them around the spokane cda area. This bike only has 14,000 miles on it. Correction the bike actual has 11,200 miles not 14k. It has a custom paint job. And a dyno jet power commander. This bike gets with the program. I dont really want to sell it but due to having 3 kids i just dont have the time to ride anymore. And the motto with classic sports bikes that ive been hearing is ride it dont hide it. Asking 5000 obo. Ive seen these bikes posted for a lot more. But our family needs the money and i want to see it have a nice home. Bike has been sitting a while so has developed a flat spot in the tires so will need new ones as soon as possible. Also the left rear blinker need to be re soldered in. Simple fix. Just dont have a soldering iron. Thanks
