Tulip Table Vintage Maurice Burke 1960s

This is a rare find, vintage Mid Century Modern Maurice Burke Tulip squat table 41"X18" with original "Burke, Inc." stamp in the metal base proving authenticity. Solid heavy aluminum base and solid laminate top. I picked up this piece about 25 years ago in California during one of my regular vintage hunts and have so enjoyed it. I've downsized and sadly don't have room for it and it makes me sick to keep in storage so I'm hoping to sell it to someone who can appreciate and enjoy it like I did. I did paint it black and it's got wear and tear from 25 years of travels, so it's grungy cool, but if that's not your thing, it's a great project to restore or make your own style. Maurice Burke designed his famous tulip tables in the 1960s, manufacturing them in England through the firm Arkana. His tables were used in classic 60s and 70s shows including Star Trek and The Brady Bunch, so this is a killer score and a great price. Only selling for this low because I painted it and it's scuffed up, but you're looking at a truly valuable find here. Local pick up only Sold as is Cash only
