I am a small engine mechanic and have refurbished both of these weed eaters. They will last for years yet if not abused. PRICE IS $70 EACH OR BOTH FOR $130. The Homelite weedeater: 2 cycle engine, uses 50:1 gas / 2-cycle oil mix, NEVER USE STRAIGHT GAS! Has bump head loaded with 0.080 line. Reconditioned spark plug. Reconditioned/rebuilt carburetor including new primer bulb and metering diaphragm. New fuel lines and fuel filter. New air filter. Starts easy, idles well, runs and cuts great. The TROY BILT weedeater (has guard). 4 cycle engine, uses straight gas, not oil/gas mix. Rebuilt. New carburetor. New fuel lines and fuel filter. Reconditioned spark plug. Uses precut line, NOT A BUMP HEAD. RUNS LIKE A SCALDED DOG. Starts easy, runs quiet, idles well, plenty of power! I accept cash or cash app. Pick up location near W. Commerce and Trinity.
