It takes Daniel Thomson's legendary Modern Planing Hull and marries it with Kelly Slater's performance round tail. The result gives you incredible speed down the line (it races around sections like you wouldn't believe), but with super smooth turns. The shape gives it way more paddle power than you'd expect for its size/length, but the tail gives you plenty of hold in steeper waves and smooth transitions. It's made with Firewire's LFT (Linear Flex Technology) construction. "LFT incorporates Firewire’s SPRINGER HD, a 0.75” (18 mm) wide aerospace composite that runs down the centerline of the board, representing the next generation in our SPRINGER technology. The SPRINGER HD runs the entire length of the board and plays a pivotal role in optimizing flex from nose to tail." Used but in great shape. All dings professionally repaired (none of them deep enough to cause structural damage). It's water tight, waxed up, and ready to surf. It also includes a tail pad that's in good shape, and front-foot traction that's like new. I really love this board but I need to thin out my quiver a bit. This board is an absolute blast, though, both at punchy break breaks, and at longer running points. For lack of a better word, it feels futuristic. Local pickup only.
