Blue Carnival Westmoreland Humphrey Camel Covered Dish. 6.25" L X 5.5" H. There are no markings on this piece (see below). The dish has one chip on the top rim of the bottom half of this unique Camel dish, not visible with the top on. Additional information about Humphrey the Camel. The Camel (HUMPHREY) was made in a few limited edition colors, which are very hard to find today. It was originally made during the 1930s in milk glass and continued many years in this color. In the 1970's-1980's, it was produced in blue carnival, emerald green carnival, turquoise carnival, lilac and lilac satin, green satin, yellow satin, antique blue (blue milk glass) and milk. Later issues were marked on the inside of the lid with the Westmoreland trademark - a "G" superimposed over a "W." Camels made in the 1930s do not have this trademark.
