1987 Nissan D21

1987 Nissan D21 2.4 liter 5spd, It has then engine and all smog components from a 1991 Nissan D21. When I did the swap I put in 4 New fuel injectors and filter, new water pump, radiator and thermostat, spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor, oil and filter, Truck starts and runs perfectly only issue is that the "check engine light" comes on when it wants. I've looked it over and over again and can not find what's wrong. Like I mentioned before, I used it for about a year, and the motor sounds good and healthy runs smooth. The code on the computer shows 5-3, which has to do with the injectors. Dash has cracks, door panels have been re-done, bench sit has no rips, Flowmaster with tip down under bed. At the beginning the check engine light didn't come on so I took it to the smog ref to get it smogged legit but when the smog ref drove it in the shop the check engine light came on. It's been sitting, but i do start it from time to time, so I just want to sell it.
