Description

The Marryat reels were designed by George Gehrke as a lightweight reel in several sizes for all species of fish. They have been manufactured by three companies in the US, Japan, and Switzerland. The basic design features an ingenious over-running clutch with a shoe and drum drag adjusted by a cam. Simple, functional, and reliable. The machined aluminum frame and spool are anodized to an attractive gold color. Spool diameter is 3” and width is 1 3/16”. Takes line up to 8wt. Set up for RH only Condition is immaculate.
