Hoover Empower Hush Upright Vacuum Cleaner

nherited a few vacuum cleaners that only needed a belt replacement from my parents. I thought I would try it out to make sure it worked after I replaced the $3 belt. This one works great and feels like its self propelled. A few things I really like about this one. First, is that it has a HUSH mode. What? A quite vacuum? It is surprisingly quite for a powerful 12 amp motor. So if you have infants, children or anyone that takes naps and you want to vacuum, it can come in handy. Another unique feature I havent seen on a vacuum is a gliding switch on the handle that increases power at will. kinda cool to have. Lastly, the handle can fold down for easy storage...not bad. Tried to get some info on google and found that this model is discountinued but the replacement models with exact same features just a different color sell for about $250 and I'm sure are well worth it. But if you would like to keep most of that money in your pocket, buy this one that works just as good with a new belt.
