Let me start out by saying friction drive setups are the most reliable motorized bikes you can own. It is a very simple design it's just a roller on the tire. What's also nice is this setup is pull start and fully automatic. No need to pedal start the bike or even pedal at all this bike will start out from a dead stop. The motor is a very powerful 63cc 2 stroke engine that has very good torque and will do up to 40 mph. I build these engine by hand myself and they are very reliable. The bike I used is a 26+ inch Schwinn aerovane. This bike is a steel framed cruiser which means less vibration and stronger frame. The tires are 26+ which means they are 26x3.0. Wide tires mean better ride quality. This bike rides like a Cadillac and has no vibration at all. I have added a 1 gallon gas tank to this bike so you can ride all day without worrying about filling up. I have also added a front tektro brake with Shimano MTB brake pads because every motorized bike should have both a front and rear brake. Like I said earlier friction drive bikes are the most reliable bikes you can own. They just always work and are geared for people who want to take longer rides and people who need reliable transportation. Fricton drive bikes have virtually no maintenance. Throughout the years all my personal bikes have been friction drive bikes because they just always work.
