Description

Selling my son's highly upgraded custom build 2018 Kona Shred mountain bike. I bought it as a NOS in 2020 and custom upgraded it as an one-off build after purchase. The bike features the best in class super sturdy and over built aluminum frame for the most serious young riders. It was upgraded from 7 speed freewheel to Shimano Deore 1x10 speed drivetrain with the huge climbing cassette with max 46T; with just 24" tires, this setup provides a massive amount of torque so the young rider can keep up with the group on even super steep hills.. The wheels and tires have been upgraded to hand built Shimano wheels and Maxxis tires that can handle serious terrains. Shimano hydraulic brakes to make this brake at a dime. This super safe and visible hot orange color is no longer in production as well. Son rode it for only two seasons before he outgrew it, and it still has tons of life left.
