Description

Born in 1935 in Trebison, Czechoslovakia. He studied at the Bratislava School of Art and Design specializing in sculpture and ceramics. On the faculty of the Department of Art History at Comenuis University where he obtained his doctorate. This prominent sculptor completed major restoration work at the Slovak National Theatre. She completed the restoration of the baroque decorations in the Black Eagle Castle in Presov and complemented her own bas-relief sculpture. This stunning contemporary sculpture was first created in 1977. Truly an extraordinary composition that uses positive and negative spatial relationships to capture the mystery of the woman.
