The Steam Zone™ by Breville uses the power of steam to cook everything from whole fish to seasonal vegetables with exceptional efficiency—and no added oil or fat. Housed inside the steamer's stainless-steel body is a single 16-inch cooking tray that accommodates whole fish and large cuts of meat. Two BPA-free steaming baskets – with separate cooking zones – provide additional capacity for preparing side dishes and smaller portions. Because the baskets heat independently, ingredients can be ready at the same time even if their steam times differ. 1800 watts of power and Rapid Start technology deliver steam within 30 seconds. Independent steam control allows for simultaneous cooking for foods that require different steam times and power. The Synch Finish Program allows independent steam zones to finish cooking at the same time. Five steam-level controls: High, Low, High Keep Warm, Low Keep Warm and Keep Warm. Single layer steaming gets your food closer to the water level, preventing flavor contamination. Long 16-inch steam tray is large enough for cooking a whole fish.
