Description

Original print most likely from a calendar in the 1920's-1930's of a woman standing at the back of a garden bench looking out toward the ocean. Bottom is marked: "In The Garden of Romance" and shows her copyrighted signature of Adelaide Hiebel. Below it shows The Gerlach Barklow Co Joliet IL which was the largest calendar manufacturing company in the USA at that time and were know for their high caliber prints on the calendars that were often hand tinted. Size is 7 1/2" x 9" and is on grainy 'calendar' type paper. In excellent condition but doe have a mark on the bottom edge of the print. When this piece is framed the mark won't show but I have reduced the price to reflect the mark.
