Description

A set of 3 vintage Mecoline padded folding chairs made in Greenville, Tennessee. Very good quality, well maintained from no smoking family. Collection of folding Mecoline chairs are dating back to the 1950s. It’s made of gold-colored aluminum and padded, upholstered seats and backs with a fleur de` lis design to the backrest. Good vintage condition; minor wear consistent with age. This design still represents France and the House of Bourbon in the form of marshalling in e.g. the arms of Spain, Quebec and Canada. The fleur-de-lis is represented in Unicode at U+269C ⚜ in the Miscellaneous Symbols block.
