The Daiwa Presso Rods are ultra-light spinning rods designed for smaller species of fish including panfish, trout and shad. These superior ultralight actions come in lengths up to 8’ for a combination of casting power with light lures—shock absorbing action to handle strong fish on ultra-fine lines. Micro-pitch taping of the blank during curing assures even distribution of resin and graphite for maximum power and sensitivity. Typically, ultra-light rods have been fairly short in length which limits the casting distance one can achieve with them. The Presso rods possesses the necessary length and actions to make long casts with very light lures whether you're after bluegill, trout or any other small sport fishing species.
