For faster tracking, you can set the GPS tracker to Rapid Track. The iOS and Android apps allow you to view detailed travel reports right from your smartphone. This GPS tracker is able to alert you via text or email for events such as speeding or if the tracker has left a specified area (geofence). The GPS tracker has a rechargeable battery that can last up to two weeks under normal use (approximately 1 hour per day). The tracker also features a panic button and is enclosed in a weather-resistant housing. The unit operates using the BrickHouse GPS platform using CDMA network connectivity for added location accuracy. This unit does not track outside the United States and requires a monthly service plan from Verizon Wireless to operate. Once it has been plugged in, it may take up to 24 hours for it to connect to Verizon and begin reporting.
