Working 1940's to 50's Portable/Travel Steam Iron. By General Electric, Catalog Numbers F29 and 17F29. Light weight only 1 3/4 pounds. . Cloth Wrapped Cord and Bakelite Plug, in excellent usable condition.. Plastic removable water bottle-reservoir is in excellent condition. Iron has been tested and works perfectly. Iron is Stainless Steel and Bakelite. Measurements: Cord 92" or 7' 8" long , Face of Iron 7 1/2" x 3 7/8". Nice little older electric iron. Would be a wonderful addition to a collection of early home electric appliances. Perfect Decor Displayed in a Tailors, Quilters or Seamstresses Studio. Home Laundry/Utility Room Decor.
