Description

I got this bike from my brother when he could no longer ride thinking I'd be going on bike rides with friends (I had been borrowing bikes previously)...and since, I've been on zero bike rides, so time for these wheels to find a new home! (Also selling a Saris trunk rack!) I did take it to River City for a tune-up when I bought it and it has always been stored indoors. This bike is in good used condition with one call out - a broken spoke on the back wheel I noticed when taking the photos. Since I haven't ridden this bike since I brought it home, I think it must have gotten a little crunch in the moving truck during our last move that broke this spoke. The bike shop near my house (Upcycles on Alberta) charges $45 for a rear wheel spoke repair for bikes with disc brakes. Seat tube length measurement in photos, end of tape measure is in the center of the point where the pedals attach (bottom bracket). To the top of the seat tube it looks like 20.75" to me. When I sit on this bike with the seat in the lowest position I'm almost on tiptoe when I try to put both feet on the ground, I am 5'8" tall. From labels on the bike I can tell you it has: *A1 enhanced aluminum, forged 3D dropouts *Shimano Deore mega drive train *Marzocchi MZ Comp fork *Enduro 26x2.20 tires, wire bead *Sunrims Ditchwitch rims *Truvativ Blaze crankset From some poking around, it looks like this bike brand/style sells for anywhere between $400-550 used; and the least expensive new mountain bike of any kind on the Specialized website is $600. I decided to price this one at $300 due to the fact that you'll need to have that broken spoke repaired (Upcycles on Alberta charges $45). Willing to consider your reasonable offer.
