Description

~3.5 yrs old. Pello makes higher end bikes for kids. This is a Reyes model (24 in. wheels), they say it's for ages 7 and up. I ordered it with the suspension fork. In total this was about $750 when I got it new. I have the spare derailluer hanger and bell that came with it. I got an extra rotor from a friend with an identical bike. I did a tubeless conversion to a Maxxis Minion DHF in front (could use a retape of the rim). Still lots of life left on that tire. So I have two spare tire tubes. Mechanical disc brakes work fine. Paint in one spot tends to rub off due to constant friction with cables. That's a design oversight by the company. If you want to expose your kid to mountain biking but don't want to spend $500+, and you have time to do a little cleanup or basic maintenance, this might be for you
