Panasonic OmniMovie VHS HQ AF X8 CCD Camcorder Kit- Working/Restored/Batteries/Accessories

This full-size camcorder is great for the display shelf, or the budding vintage-videographer, and comes with a lot of necessities and accessories. The primary unit- the camera, charger/av dock, cables, and case, are all in excellent and WORKING condition- the camera seems to have been virtually never used, but is fully functional- record/playback/editing, tested working great, with blank or pre-recorded (it’s a better deck than most dedicated shelf units tbh). Foam on the built in mic (which sounds great) was crumbling and has been replaced with a customized reproduction of the original. Ive tested the inputs/outputs, audio/mic etc, and all operate as expected. Mechanically, all is well- focus, zoom, special functions (fade, edit, etc) are solid- and the camera has a fresh coin cell for the internal clock/memory. The original palm strap rubber was spent, so the strap was machine-stitched to reconstruct it sans sticky gross rubber gunk. Also the original shoulder strap and lens cap, of course, included. Viewfinder is, as shown, crisp, clear, bright, and has good contrast and focus! The kit includes 2 new-production lead acid batteries (one nice thing about this model is that the batteries are still in production due to use in legacy industrial applications) which are both less than two years old and our cycled regularly every two months. Also included are Panasonic’s tele and wide conversion lenses, 12-volt auto power/av pass through cable, and cabled remote. What more can I say? Oh yea, the case looks great :) I’ll throw in some tapes, too!
