Up for sale is a beautiful and rare 2002 Limited Edition Korean Epiphone Dot Deluxe VS with a gorgeous flamed Vintage Tobacco Sunburst finish and upgraded Sperzel Locking Tuners. It was made in the legendary Saein Plant in South Korea, on April, 2002 Production Number: 1027 This is a Limited Edition Pro Level Epiphone Dot with Gibson level specs throughout. I think you will be surprised by how nice this guitar is in person. It’s in very good condition with normal wear. It has a few small dents and scratches that are barely noticeable. The previous owner moved the strap button to the left horn of the guitar to counter balance it to prevent potential neck dive. It plays very comfortably without any neck dive. Two of the locking tuners don’t currently lock however they work perfectly as normal tuners. They need new pin screws that I’ve heard Sperzel will replace for free if you reach out to them. This guitar has one of the nicest playing slim taper d style necks I’ve played. Very well balanced and fast. These vintage Epiphone Dot’s are highly praised and becoming collectible. Josh Homme and Dave Grohl have extensively used Korean made Epiphone Dots both live and in the studio. These pickups special. They sound absolutely incredible. Very full, warm and articulate sounding. These are different pickups than what’s used any any other model Dot. They are definitely of very high quality can easily hang with or beat out Gibson USA Classic 57 humbuckers any day. Recently professionally set up with new GHS Boomers 10 gauge strings. The frets are in very good condition and were recently gone over with a file and a good polish for silky smooth playing without any sharp ends. The action is setup very low without any fret buzz whatsoever. Freshly deep cleaned, waxed and shined to perfection. Dialed in and ready to command any stage or studio. The pots and input have been cleaned with Deoxit and it’s ready to rock! These are actual photos of the guitar for sale.
