Description

This is a made in Mexico Fender Modern player Jazzmaster, Capri Orange. I always wanted to try out the Jazzblaster route so I put together this beast. The modifications include a custom ordered pick guard which is professionally cut. Pickups are "The Creamery" custom hand wound pickups from Manchester England. CTS POTS, switchcraft switch. Simple with volume and tone only. The outcome is very bright, very clear sounding instrument. Great string separation. Tremolo works surprisingly well and stays in tune, as you can read and review of this guitar. The Creamery pickups are best demonstrated in a comparison on you tube, where they show the original telecaster wide-range pickups compared to these and the Creamery pickups outshine the original wide range humbuckers from a 74 tele. These cost $300 for the set. There is 1 flaw with this guitar, as I was putting in a grounding screw, (the entire cavity is grounded with paint) I pin-holed the back of the guitar. You can see this in the image. Size as compared to a penny. They are also to tiny scuffs, 1 of the edge of the guitar and 1 on the front, also compared to a penny. I have set up this guitar and it plays very nicely. At this point I have so many guitars, and I am saving up for a collector, so this one goes.
