Zuni Janice Paloma Vintage 1970s Sterling Silver Long Turquoise Needlepoint Ring Size: 8 Ring Face Width: 5/8 in This beautiful and rare vintage ring features 6 long and narrow natural turquoise stones, hand-cut in needlepoint style, set in handmade sawtooth bezels. There are 6 sterling silver accent drops at the top and base of the stones. The ring also has a hand-stamped floral design on the sides of the shank. There are no cracks in the turquoise. The turquoise is probably from the now closed Sleeping Beauty mine in Arizona and was once a bright blue. Over time and with wear blue turquoise turns green, something collectors call "greasy green," because lotions and oils from our hands are the cause. It is very desirable to collectors as it indicates the age of the ring. In a good condition
