Description

AWD Automatic Honda crv 1998/1st gen (I am interested in discussing price but am unsure if I am ready to sell. I’d like to hear some offers. I’m fair with pricing) Runs and drives, but I’ve been having trouble lately with it. Took it to a mechanic that took my money and tried to undercut the services. Taking my losses. No pink slip. My issue is that it overheats after some time so I’m concerned about funneling more money into a car I’ve had for years. Just bought a car a couple months back and I’d rather put money into the new one. Perks: Has security system, great mileage, cargo room is great for families or storage, easy to park on campus or midtown, external spare tire, original table insert, not stinky, easy to handle, good for trips to Tahoe (if you like Tahoe then I’ll throw in my snow chains since I won’t need them anymore) ——————— Engine was swapped and tires are brand new, but I have a list of what needs replacing below beyond maintenance: - radiator OR thermostat needs swapping. I may be doing a radiator flush on my own to get rid of contaminants to see if that helps with anything, but this is going to affect my price overall -suspension work/attention to alignment. I did tires but did not get an alignment. I was going to do this before looking at suspension since my steering wheel started to tilt after visiting americas tire (good job guys) -brake fluid needs flush. Water contamination after many miles and years. I also have new brake pads in the back seat waiting. -drivers side window motor is out -drivers side interior door handle does not open, but I may be fixing that this week (apparently it’s easy) -catty was swapped in 2021 (approved by Honda) but now there’s a piece of welding bouncing in the exhaust piping after my engine swap. Needs to be rewelded (roughly $100-250) -power steering has a leak after the mechanic worked on it twice. I’m opting to possibly replace the pump entirely on my own since the part is cheap and the work is easy. It’s messy but overall if you wanted to DIY it’s $100-175
