Featuring the same monolithic weldment plate steel chassis and drum construction as our largest production roasters, this 3 kilogram capacity roaster is a great solution for the aspiring professional coffee roaster that is interested in the lower price-point of a manually controlled roaster. This model comes with a phidget 4 channel to usb adapter passes BT, ET, and DT thermocouple readings. The roaster is equipped with variable drum speed for optimal roasting from batch sizes from 200 to 3000 grams. Control on this machine is via hand adjustments of the gas input and power input for the fan and drum speed. The MCR-3 features a thermally isolated cooling tray and high output cooling tray fan that cools coffee from 2nd crack in as little as 4 minutes.
