This is a true vintage item and shows wear consistent with age and use. • Upholstery: The rayon velvet shows visible pile wear, bruising, thinning, areas of staining, and small tears in a few spots, most notably on the top and along the edges. There is also shading and darker areas of discoloration consistent with age and use. • Base: Cosmetic wear including paint loss, surface wear, and one small chip to the carved wood trim (visible in photos), along with minor oxidation consistent with age. • Underside: Original dust cover is torn and deteriorated due to age; internal structure remains supportive.
