The DKX is a simple, reliable dump trailer that you can haul with a 3/4 ton truck. It hauls loose materials well and makes a great trailer for construction work, landscaping, or even trash hauling. Based on an 8in I-beam frame, the DKX dumps its bed with a 5in scissor hoist system. We house the KTI hydraulic pump and Interstate battery in a large, internally split toolbox. This protects the heart of the hydraulics system and provides a convenient place for chains and other important tools. The DKX has 18in tall steel sides with a 3in bent steel cap, with 6in boards topping them, for a total 24in side height. This means you don't have to worry about tearing up your metal dump sides when loading your dump trailer. These top rails are then supported with flared steel side supports. Combined, they help form a bed that's extremely resistant to warping, dents, and damage. All of our dumps come equipped with tarp kits as a STANDARD feature. We build each DKX with a STANDARD GVWR of 14,000 lbs and twin 7K electric brake axles. This trailer comes with a bed length of 14ft with a curb weight of 4,420lb. Like all MAXX-D Trailers, the DKX I-beam dump model is Texas-made and is finished with our industry-leading powder coating process.
