One chair has a crack repair on the top right of the backrest, the crack was sealed with some type of glue making the crack flaw firm and stable. The chairs have a custom refinish of near black or black with nice distressing, The seats fabric have also been redone in a cream or pearl white velour fabric, both jobs still look very nice. The center of the backs crest rail feature high-rise ornate detail that appears to be a shell with scroll detail on the sides, the splat of the back centers have stacked or double ornate detail, the front legs have stacked fluted detail with bun feet. These are semi delicate pieces, yet durable this combination is in both some antique and contemporary pieces. All 4 chairs are very stable and pass the sit test - they do not move with you when you sit or stand. The tips for the feet has been replaced on one chair, the other 3 still has the original metal tips.
