1982 Chevrolet Camaro

This is a 1982 Camaro Z28 Indianapolis 500 Pace car.This is a numbers matching car with 110,000 miles on it. There was only a little over 6 thousand of this model made. The bumper is not original and the driver door has been replaced the hood was seriously cracked since it was fiberglass The Gas tank, rear shocks, springs, brake's Shoes, drum, booster,shaved door handle kit partially installed, driver door shaved (no handle hole) passanger side needs shaved still but the door poppers are hooked up. It has a new brake booster master cylinder new front rotors callipers and pads.stainless steel brake lines on the front It has been sitting for a long time so they will probably need turned to get all the rust off. I have all new weather stripping for the T Tops and doors. The engine has been rebuilt all new main bearings cam bearings and seals new freeze plugs.High volume oil pump, true roller timming chain,edelbrock performer cam, and carburetor  new push rods, edelbrock ceramic headers ran into custom exhaust. The exhaust will need reconnected and welded since I replaced the tank. Tail lights are in great shape. This is a factory carbureted car. All original minus the interior. THe interior that is coming with it is from an 84 Iroc. The original Interior was tore up.Except for the Dash Pad it is in beautiful condition. All that is left of the 84 interior is the side panels. THe interior seats where just shreaded and destroyed no saving them. I also have several other parts that can be sold I have 2 more shifter to go with it and a set of tires for it to sit on rather than the flat ones it is on. IT has a new heater core with a specially designed heater box to fit with headers. So this car will have heat even with headers.THere has been a lot of parts and work put in on this project with a little more time and love it will be beautiful. There are several other parts that come with the car that are extra parts from part searching. This car is by no means road ready it needs a radiator, rear brake lines front brakes lines need hooked up lifters need adjusted needs plugs, wires cap and rotor are new all wiring needs hooked up and checked, it needs interior.Brakes will need bled and so on. The engine compartment has been repainted deep Metal flake Blue with powder pearl, so it shows hints of purple and black and in the sun it is a deep metal flake blue. a Really stunning color. My plan was to customize the indianapolis pace car with the way it should have looked instead of its 2 tone look it originaly had. The customized camaros seems to be the in thing right now.
