Selling my 12 foot Jon boat with trailer and fairly new engine. Read description on engine. The boat Older Lowe Jon boat. I installed a trolling motor on the boat as well as a solar charging system for the battery. I believe this system might still work, but I haven’t tested it this season. I do have a title for the boat. The engine It’s a fairly new mercury engine. It has been recently giving me trouble where it would not start when it got hot after operation. Enough throttle would allow it to start however. Seemed to be a flooding issue. I cleaned the carb and added new gaskets. I discovered the crankcase smells like gas. So, the fuel pump may have got bad, adding gas in the oil. Not sure how long this has been going on. So, some possible engine damage may have occurred. No looking to put more time and energy in it. Regardless, when it would operate and sounded fine. Gets up to 20-22 mph with one person. The trailer Old and rusty trailer. Pulls fine but some axle grease leaks. No title for the trailer. Feel free to reach out with more questions. The boat is located in Stanley. I can meet after 6 to show the boat most weekdays. Won’t do test runs given the engine condition.
