This is only intended to sell for a certain audience, if your someone who is NOT interested in modding your switch then YES there will be cheaper alternatives. This is v1 model unpatched unbanned still stock. For those who don’t know, this is the easiest switch to modify and alter, hence the price. I did my own homework to ensure it is mod ready and worked with several reputable switch enthusiasts on multiple platforms to make sure it would be mod ready, because I at once considered modding, although I am going away from Nintendo and more into the PC handhelds.
