In contrast, Vision's short-wheelbase (SWB) models utilize a lighter 1½-inch tubing. To keep the R40 affordable without compromising performance, components are carefully chosen for quality and functionality. With the availability of shop-installed conversion kits, the R40 can be configured as an over-seat steering (OSS), under-seat steering (USS), MWB, or SWB bike. This remarkable adaptability makes it one of the most versatile recumbents in its class.
