Honestly I am gutted,  I purchased a ford f150 2012 in April. On my first drive back to california early morning after purchasing the truck, a check engine light came up. I believe the code was reset by the dealer before purchasing. Unfortunately i had to get back to CA so could not wait until monday to go back to the dealer. The first chance I got later that day. I ran the code at a garage and it came up as a o2 sensor. I contacted the dealer and they said they would look in to it and get back to me. I contacted them another couple of times and got the same answer. I was feeling ok about it at this point as I had a ' warranty ' on the truck which I later found out does not really cover anything at all.  I am not good at harassing businesses to get back to me, but this has been my downfall with this truck. In the first few months I had this truck it needed several repairs and I am over $2500 deep with repeated breakdowns and an error with the wheel hub which melted something. I still have 11 more codes of issues to go through. So very disappointed, my old truck had a lot of problems and this was supposed to take the stress out of driving and worrying if I am going to break down. Unfortunately this truck has 10x the issues of my old one.

I drove 2 hours from Tucson to purchase a 2014 F-150 (124,000 miles) for $10,000 from this dealership on Monday, June 16th. The truck overheated on the drive home that same day. The exterior also didn’t match the online listing specifically, there was missing paint on the tailgate that wasn’t shown in the photos. That said, the price was below Kelley Blue Book value, so I still considered it a good deal. There was also an issue with one of the seats, but a technician quickly fixed it, which I appreciated.

When I tried to contact the dealer about the breakdown, the office was closed. When I eventually reached them, they initially asked me to cover the tow cost. After I expressed concern, they agreed to tow the truck at no charge. A few days later, I was told the thermostat had been replaced and the truck had passed test drives. I asked for documentation, but they said there wasn’t any since the repairs were done at their in-house shop.

I returned on Thursday, June 19th to pick up the truck. I spoke with Dillon (possibly an owner or manager), who apologized and assured me the truck was good to go. Unfortunately, it overheated again after about 40 miles. I brought the truck back and requested a refund. Dillon cited Arizona’s 15-day/500-mile limited warranty, explaining that a refund isn’t possible unless the vehicle breaks down three times within that window. Though I wasn’t happy with the answer, he remained professional, and I respected how he handled the conversation.

They worked on the truck again and told me a radiator hose had been replaced. Dillon had mentioned that a repair summary would be provided and that a third-party mechanic could review the work. He mentioned it was ready on Wednesday June 25, but I was unable to to return until Saturday. When I returned on Saturday, June 28th to pick it up, no documentation was available, so I assume no third-party mechanic reviewed the vehicle. On the way home, the truck overheated a third time near Casa Grande.

I called the dealership. The owner wasn’t in only 2 salesman. I asked if someone could contact him or provide written assurance of a refund. The salesman refused, saying he wouldn’t bother the owner over the weekend and would not share his contact information. When I continued to ask for some assurance, the salesman called the police, claiming I was trespassing. I had spoken briefly with another prospective buyer while waiting, which the salesman clearly didn’t appreciate. The buyer did still purchase his truck.

The police arrived about 15 minutes later, and I calmly explained the situation. They confirmed that this was a civil matter, advised me to remain respectful in communication, and said legal action was an option. I was asked to leave the property, and the dealership confirmed they would not press trespassing charges.

As I waited for my ride, the senior salesman remained professional, said goodbye, and assured me they would "take care of me." I appreciated that gesture.

The junior salesman who originally sold me the truck also spoke with me. He admitted that this was the first dealership he had worked at where he didn’t always know the condition of the vehicles. He said that in the past two weeks, about 15 vehicles had been sold, and only 3-4 had zero issues. The rest, including mine, had some kind of mechanical problem. He also acknowledged that the environment could be difficult due to dealing with frustrated customers. He was sympathetic and apologized, which I also appreciated.

To date, I have:

Spent $12,700 total (including a $2,700 warranty, which has not been used because all breakdowns occurred within the 15-day/500-mile dealer warranty)

Spent ~$100 on gas for the F-150

Spent ~$350 on Uber rides

Made 3 round trips from Tucson (4 hours each)

Experienced 3 overheating incidents

Legally Owned a truck for nearly 2 weeks that hasn't been in my possession for 1 day

Communication from the dealership has been limited. I’ve had to initiate nearly every update. I hope things get better and I'll update my review if they do.

I have worked with Tyler from the start. Everything was super easy and smooth sailing. So far I’m loving my truck, needs a few things here and there but nothing serious. I recommend this place they have good deals especially for those with not so great credit, I would recommend this place. As a reminder, when you buy from little family owned places, you’re buying the vehicle AS IS, that’s only reason why they have some not so positive reviews. Hope this helps!

Kelsey was awesome from start to finish! Have had our F-150 over a year now and nothing but excellent. They took great care of us and we're nothing but wonderful to work with! They took care of everything on the mechanic list and made sure we were comfortable with the purchase. Would highly recommend!
