This radio does it all. 2m, 70cm, GMRS, APRS. It is app controlled so you can mount the radio under the seat, pull out the included Bluetooth mic, and talk on the radio. You can also use your phone to talk on the radio via a Bluetooth headset or your car speakers. It builds an APRS map accessible in the app so you can see where other users are located, you can text message them and send photos. This is a multi-band, dual receive radio. It can record your transmissions and save them in the app, you can set up the radio at home, connected to a tablet or a phone, then use the radio remotely from your phone or an Internet connected tablet. It also does cross band repeat. You can set the radio to one band, then set the second vfo to another band and use the radio as a repeater. Radio and Bluetooth mic together are roughly a $250 value.
