Selling my Maitland Smith Embossed Leather Stacked Books Trompe-l'œil Coffee Table. I have the glass top. It is in used condition. I have attempted to document the wear and tear, transparently. If one looks online for this table, they will find it substantially more expensive, and in about the same condition. I am pricing it here because I assume that the new owner will do what I intended - get it restored. The “books are leather bound and embossed, so any leathercraft worker/furniture restoration shop, worth their salt, should be more than capable of restoring it to its original glory. I have seen them online around $1200 and up to as high as $3800 on Chairish and 1stdibs. It is SUPER hefty, so serious inquiries only, and ask for more photos/video if you’re unsure. I’m in Upper Queen Anne, but I will bring it out to distances within reason. No trades, or holding it. You can message me here and I’ll shoot over my number to discuss it.
