Description

The rarely heard of and difficult to find, especially at the sizes we offer, the J.C Van Keppel is an extraordinary specimen in both shape and color. With a robust trunk, plump and elongated, pointed leaves, with a very tight rosette, this plant also sports an orange cream-cicle color when happily stressed in its growing season. Even without stress, the color never resorts to the run of the mill green, but stays in the grey-orange range. An extremely easy plant to grow, despite its illusiveness in acquisition, it tolerates both cold and hot climates, and in fact seems to thrive in what would be considered less than ideal conditions for most plants. An excellent choice for any gardeners who are looking for the trifecta of beauty, resilience, and rarity. -Plants will ship bare rooted. -Plants measure approximately 4.5” across, and stand between 4-5.5” tall.
